Understanding Spousal Maintenance Mediation Service - A Path to Resolving Disputes

Disputes over maintenance after divorce do not always have to be settled through legal proceedings. Mediation services on maintenance provides a confidential and peaceful environment for both parties to reach a mutual agreement. It is often more time- and cost-effective than litigation and significantly reduces the emotional distress on both parties and their children.
In this video, we have invited Mr Chung Kwok-shing, Patrick, Senior Coordinator (Mediation Services) of the Mediation Centre at the Hong Kong Family Welfare Society, to explain the process and benefits of maintenance-related mediation. He will also introduce details of the “Maintenance Mediation Pilot Scheme” launched by the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau, helping the public gain a deeper understanding of the programme.
