Family and Women Development Summit

The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region attaches great importance to family and women development. The Chief Executive has announced in his 2023 Policy Address to organise the Family and Women Development Summit to collect views from different sectors of the community for formulating more focused measures. We hope to exchange views with those who are concerned about the family and women’s development in Hong Kong, establish close partnerships with them and publicise the continuous progress made for the family and women’s development in Hong Kong.

Themed “Women’s Strengths in Action, Family Values Across Generations”, the inaugural Summit will invite the officials responsible for policies on women or family from different regions, as well as successful women from various sectors, representatives of families from different backgrounds and non-governmental organisation as guest speakers. They will share their valuable experiences and insights on the importance of family and women’s development in building a harmonious society and promoting national development.
